Groundhog Day Blizzard?

Weather forecasters are predicting a storm with as much as 16 inches of snow in the next few days. Winds could be as high as 40-50 miles per hour.Yikes! I just came from the grocery store and it was a crazy house with people scurrying around. The bread and soup aisles were especially packed.  This reminded me of the blizzard I wrote about in my novel Faith and Hope-Grace's Story where a freak blizzard isolates an entire town.We have it so much easier than they did on the plains in 1870. Let's calm down and enjoy the show Mother Nature is about to put on. I',m ready for hot chocolate, soup and curling up with a good book..

RAH Retreat!

Image
This weekend I have the joy of being at the 2016 RAH Retreat. This is an opportunity for romance writers to get together and share personal experience, stories, laughs, and time. I am so excited to be with this wonderful group! Lots of inspiring things are happening and it is refreshing! Below is a picture of best selling author Mary Connealy, Harlequin editor Giselle Regus, and myself! How cool is that?!  I am so excited to be here at the retreat. I hope all of you are enjoying a nice book and staying out of the cold! ~J
