Day Two of Thirty Days, Thirty Simple Ways...
It occurred to me last night that I forgot to mention I'll be keeping a simple journal over these thirty days. Nothing elaborate but a sentence or two each night to reflect on how my day went. Reflections are big in education these days because they show a means to measure growth( before and after). I plan to jot mine down in a spiral notebook. Could be the beginnings of a new book...
Day Two- Buy yourself a small gift.
Is there a book you’ve
wanted to read, a new lipstick to try? Go ahead, give yourself permission.
There are thousands of e-books available under $5.00. Thrift stores sell
paperbacks for as little as a quarter. Drugstores sell great cosmetics now.
Forget those department store brands. It doesn’t matter what you buy as long as
it’s something you’d normally deprive yourself. Go on. A few bucks won’t break
the budget.
